Welcome to the results page of the Specchio study, which illustrates the health status of the Geneva population.
This is a Beta version currently under production.
Here, you will find recent results from the study (2024), looking at aspects such as general health status, mental health, lifestyle behaviors, access to care, the environment, health and the workplace, and health of the elderly population. The results are categorized by theme to facilitate navigation.
We invite you to select a theme and one of the corresponding measures. You will then find the overall results for each measure, as well as their distribution by age group, sex, and education level.
The education level is defined as primary for compulsory schooling, secondary (apprenticeship or secondary school), or tertiary (university). Note that data from previous years (2022 and 2023) are also available for some measures in addition to the recent 2024 results.
Please be aware that the results for health and the workplace and some of the health measures for the elderly only available for the year 2023 (select the year 2023 to view these results).
You also have the option to view the results as either raw observed data or data adjusted according to the age, sex, and education level distribution of the Geneva population, to ensure a better representation of the general population.
After reviewing the study's results, you can also compare your estimated results with those of the general population. To do this, simply click on "Your Results" and choose the sex, age, and education level that matches you or the choice you wish to make. This will allow you to visually compare and contrast the selected results to those of the general population.
