Specchio takes an interest in screening

In this month ofpink octobera month marked by worldwide campaigns to prevent and screen for breast cancer, the Specchio study is proposing a new new questionnaire to better understand the general state of health of the Geneva population in terms of prevention. Screening involves carrying out tests on people with no symptoms, to detect diseases or conditions at an early stage. The aim is to identify health problems before they manifest themselves or become serious.
A number of questions are asked about screening for diseases such as breast or cervical cancer, colorectal cancer or prostate cancer, among others.
Completing this questionnaire is therefore very important for everyone. All the answers obtained at population level will help us to better understand the current state of health of the population and the social, economic and territorial disparities in access to care and prevention, and in screening practices among the population of Geneva.
