Specchio and Bus Santé studies at the Café de l'innovation

How is the health of the people of Geneva faring over time? This is the main question that unites all the studies made possible by your participation as a representative cohort of the canton's population. At lunchtime, Dr Mayssam Nehme, assistant physician at the HUG's Primary Care Medicine Department and head of the Population Epidemiology Unit, presented the Specchio and Bus Santé studies as part of the Innovation Café.
Around fifty people attended this overview of the workings, objectives, challenges and ambitions of these two digital studies in Geneva, which are based on the active participation of the general public.

The Innovation Cafés ?

The Innovation Cafés are held throughout the year, on Tuesdays at lunchtime, alternating with the Research Cafés, in a short, informal format. They combine presentations and discussions on topical issues relating to innovations in the field of healthcare. The projects presented are both innovations developed by staff at the HUG and elsewhere. Their aim is to encourage exchanges, stimulate discussions and create synergies.
