SEROCoV-KIDS study wins award at Swiss Paediatric Congress 2022

A researcher in the Population Epidemiology Unit, Viviane Richard was awarded the SwissPedNet Prize Prize for Clinical and Translational Research for her presentation on the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the quality of life and mental health of children and adolescents. Awarded by pädiatrie schweiz | pédiatrie suisse at the Swiss Paediatric Congress 2022This prize highlights the groundbreaking work carried out since early December 2021 by the entire research group of the SEROCoV-KIDS study. This research group brings together the skills of a number of staff, carers and investigators from the Primary Care Medicine Service in close collaboration with theChildren's Hospital.

The current SEROCoV-KIDS study, which will last around three years, aims to assess the extent to which the pandemic may have had an influence on the general health, well-being, development, education, socio-economic and family environment, and lifestyle of children and adolescents in the canton of Geneva.
