Covid test detects antibodies in a small drop of blood
Antibody testing can be a powerful tool for tracking the spread of infections by SARS-CoV2, the virus responsible for the COVID-19 pandemic.
A group of scientists from EPFL, UNIGE and HUG have just developed a reliable and inexpensive antibody test that can analyse more than 1,000 samples at a time and requires only a small drop of blood, such as that obtained from a fingertip prick.
