Children, teenagers and COVID-19: review the webinar

On Wednesday 23 February, the Specchio-COVID19 teams organised a discussion on issues affecting the lives of children and teenagers during the pandemic: school, vaccination and mental health.

For those of you who were unable to attend the event live, we wanted to make it possible for you to replay the webinar.

Four health specialists were on hand to answer the many questions participants had about young people:

  • Prof. Idris Guessous, Head of the Department of Primary Care Medicine, HUG/University of Geneva
  • Dr Elsa Lorthe, epidemiologist, project leader of the SEROCoV-Schools study, Population Epidemiology Unit, HUG/University of Geneva
  • Dr Arnaud L'Huillier, Associate Physician, Paediatric Infectious Diseases Unit, HUG/University of Geneva
  • Dr Remy Barbe, child psychiatrist, head of the inpatient unit of the Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Service, HUG

This webinar was specifically dedicated to participants in the seroprevalence studies carried out by the Population Epidemiology Unit as part of the pandemic. Over 90 people attended the event, which lasted an hour and a half.

The entire Specchio-COVID19 team would like to thank you for your involvement in our studies, which represents a valuable participatory act for scientific research into COVID-19.
